Wayne, I'm heading down to sandy bay at Exmouth next week if you fancy some nice beach fishing, I reckon there will be some big bass to be had.

How the weather changed 3 days ago , i was down there and it ruined my last 3 days.

Don't take this the wrong way, I do a bit of all types of fishing and sea anglers go OTT with most of their gear , granted they're are many times its needed but a smaller float would be much better presentation. I did similar at Weymouth pier a few years ago with a large avon float and smashed all the others fishing big cigar floats, give it a go in the right conditions.

That place never changes just love it. I fished with my Dad and my Mum would come along on our two week holiday at the start of August. We had a boat we kept in the rack back from the slip way and would go round berry head etc. I was about 10 and even when my dad couldn't come anymore I'd still go because I love it. Eventually he passed and I haven't been able to go back for fear of becoming a blubbering shell of a man and I miss it 😢
